Timing Out

Missy Pinks at MrPinks.comDear Missy Pink,

What is a normal length of time for sex to last?

Timing Out

Dear Timing Out;

Hmmm, it sounds to me like someone may be cocked and loaded before your girlfriend/wife has even put one into the chamber? I’m happy to report, there’s no strict standard of length when it comes to lust, no one has ever said, “It must last this long or you’re not doing it right.” Sex fits moods and personalities, there are times when a quickie in the front seat of the car, parked along an abandoned road may feel like the best sex you’ve ever had, and, there will be other times when a marathon moisture session will make you feel more intimate and personally closer than you ever have with your significant other.

I noticed in your, “to the point” question, you used the word, “sex.” Let’s not forget, there truly is a difference between making love and having sex, and depending on the moods I mentioned, both can work wonderfully in a mutual agreement of arousal. Being animalistic in the form of sex is great, it unleashes the passion, the stress of the day, the buildup of bodily fluids, all in an unbridled form of fornication. When making love, it’s about the entire experience, the look across the room, holding of hands, communication, a long foreplay, the gentle side of pleasure until orgasms are complete, and yes, that does mean for you and your partner, along with a little cuddling and pillow talk afterwards.

Let the moment rule, not your erection, listen to your partner with more than just your ears, and when your mutual hormones come together, it’s all about the timing of when, not of how long.

The Comeback Queens

Devon at BrazzersThe news pages at AVN ran two highly notable stories earlier this month, both of them concerning the revival of the careers of two of porn’s most legendary female performers. As the news hit the pornosphere thousands of fans no doubt began furiously beating off, preparing and training themselves for the return of their favorite performers: Devon and Tera Patrick.

Tera Patrick, known not only for her adult career but for her best-selling memoir, Sinner Takes All, and her marriage to Biohazard rocker Evan Seinfeld, announced her first onscreen adult appearance in six years, taking a role in Axel Braun’s upcoming Hustler parody This Ain’t The Expendables XXX. Shot in 3D and co-starring Kimberly Kane, London Keyes, and Brooklyn Lee, the project unfortunately won’t give Tera’s fans what they undoubtedly hoped for. Instead of thrusting herself back under the spotlight and onto some lucky bastards boner, Tera has taken a non-sex role modeled on The Governator’s brief but nonetheless exciting cameo in Sylvester Stallone’s original 2010 action hit.

Devon, on the other hand, isn’t messing around. Signing to Brazzers and relaunching her career with a four-part Real Wife Stories series entitled Till Dick Do Us Part. Starring alongside the ravishing Raylene and facing the impossibly hard dicks of Jordan Ash and Jonny Sins, Devon plays a bride who, although newly married, just can’t shake off her whorish tendencies. The first episode of the series can now be seen exclusively at Real Wife Stories.

Sorry, Tera, but Devon pwned you this time.

Celebrating 2012’s Urban X Winners

The annual Urban X Awards celebrates the best and brightest “ethnic” performers, producers, directors, and releases of 2012 and the list of this year’s winners is truly a who’s-who of African American, Latin, and Asian porn. (Well, the made-in-America kind anyway.)

Although Mr. Pink’s favorite ebony fuck-goddess (and the co-host of this year’s awards), Nyomi Banxxx, failed to score any trophies, plenty of other ace performers went home very happy. Skin Diamond not only walked away with Female Performer of the Year, Leilani Leeane won Rising Star Female (a well deserved award if ever there was one), and Jada Stevens proved an invaluable white girl by scoring Interracial Star of the Year for her multitude of black-in-white anal and DP scenes. As for the guys, Prince Yahshua proved himself fully recovered from a nasty on-set injury that seemed certain to prematurely end his career just two short years ago by being crowned Male Performer of the Year and Best Anal Sex Scene (with Kagney Linn Karter for Prince the Penetrator).

Japanese-American superstar, Asa Akira, took home another two trophies to add to her quickly growing collection – she already won seven AVNs this year alone – this time winning Best Asian Series for Asa Akira is Insatiable and Best Asian Release for said series’ second installment, which also scored director Mason a Best Director: Gonzo award.

The real winners, however, are the fans and… HOLY SHIT! Is that Gianna Michaels? Where the hell has she been? I thought she retired! Screw the Urban X winners, Gianna Michael’s back, baby!

Wait… Riley Steele’s Back in!

Riley SteeleWhen we shared the news of Digital Playground contract star Riley Steele’s impending retirement, it seemed pretty legit. After all, she declared her intention to exit the adult industry in a self-shot video blog directed at her fans and followers, a video in which the blonde starlet and AVN winner seemed to be struggling to hold back tears. Then she hit her fans with this tweet:

Say what? “All in good fun,” you say, Riley? How on Earth is announcing your immediate retirement while choking back tears in any way, shape or form “fun”? It certainly wasn’t fun for the many fans who instantly started expressing their sadness at the departure of their favorite performer. It certainly wasn’t fun, I’m sure, for Digital Playground, either, who were likely quite dismayed at the sudden announcement. Was it really all just fun and games for Riley or was she lured back in by the terms of her exclusive contract with DP, the promise of more money, or the outpouring of adoration from her fanbase? I suppose we’ll never know; Riley certainly doesn’t seem to want to discuss it, preferring instead to take a job hosting a series of AVN events commemorating the upcoming 15th anniversary of Adult Entertainment Expo and the 30th anniversary of the AVN Awards. Sure, it’s not a swift pounding followed by a facial splattering, but that’ll no doubt be coming soon. Unless, that is, Riley decides to retire… again.
