Now a consistent presence in films from Jules Jordan, Brazzers, New Sensations, and Greg Lansky (Blacked, Tushy), Angela White is probably best seen either at her own official website, AngelaWhite.com, or under the direction of Evil Angel’s various pornographic visionaries.

Evil Angel directors Jonni Darkko, John Stagliano, Mike Adriano, Manuel Ferrara, and Francesca Le/Mark Wood have all enjoyed the fruits of Angela’s vivacious onscreen presence and incredibly curvaceous figure. Arguably the best Evil Angel showcases of her boundless enthusiasm for sharing genuine sexual pleasure comes in Ferrara’s Dirty Talk #5 and Raw #28, the former giving us a chance to hear all manner of filth in Angela’s sexy-as-fuck accent, the latter giving us a glimpse of what she’d be like to roll around a hotel room with. In true Ferrara style, her Raw scene sees Angela blushing, sweating, and creaming all over her French partner before opening her mouth and gently accepting one of his signature epic loads.

As one of their year’s inductees into the AVN Hall of Fame, it’s clear Angela White is one of the more exceptional women working in porn today. Academic, entrepreneur, actor, lover, politician, activist, and (from what I gather) a genuinely charming and cheery person, Angela White’s unique charms and one of the more welcome additions to American porn over the last ten years.

Having previously appeared as no more than another cast member in 2007’s Glam Trash, Joanna Angel doesn’t have a particularly extensive history with Penthouse. She is, after all, best known for her fierce independence and outlier status while Penthouse has long been accepted as part of the porno mainstream. That’s all about to change, though, as the studio founded by Bob Guccione way back in 1965 has tapped the Burning Angel alt.porn maven to direct her first Penthouse feature – and it’s already proving a departure from her usual knowingly schlocky comedy-porn stylings.

What originally started as a licensing meeting about bringing Burning Angel content to Penthouse’s broadcast platforms soon turned a corner and had Angel proposing a film in which she pulled the already sexually declarative Penthouse Pets even further into sexual depravity – as is her wont and style. Drew Rosenfeld, Penthouse’s head of production, was taken with the idea enough that it soon started to form into a reality.

Corrupted by an Angel sees everyone’s favorite pink-and-black-haired heavily-tatted hardcore queen take on this year’s troop of Penthouse Pets (Riley Nixon, Gina Valentina, Ryan Keely, Jenna Sativa), leading them further astray as she pushes them to further carnal (and dramatic) greatness. Ditching her usual male leads for a more clearly female-led story, Angel calls Corrupted a “girl-power movie” that she finds “really beautiful.” Two major staples of any Angel production are nonetheless granted ample presence with music by Burning Angel dick-at-large and in-house poppy punk songwriter Small Hands and plenty of raucous girl/girl, boy/girl, and group sex (including mucho anal) to go around.

As Corrupted shows a more serious side of the usually goofy and ironically inclined director, it has proven something of a challenge for Angel. “This is a serious dramatic movie,” she told AVN. “It’s a touching story [with] some very sad moments and a lot of intensity – there’s even some crying parts.” Rosenfeld felt confident, however, that she had the skill and experience to pull it off. And the cast, of course, were perfectly fit for the job, Angel declaring them all “equally as slutty as one another,” herself included.

Corrupted by an Angel is due in late September from Penthouse (through its new distribution deal with Girlfriends Films).

Freed in late 2016 from the constraints of her exclusive contract with Digital Playground, Eva Lovia has been embracing many new opportunities befitting an AVN Female Performer of the Year nominee such as herself. A trio of scenes for Naughty America, a stunner with Hayley Reed for new Mofos venture Share My BF, and the launch of her own official members site, Fall in Lovia, which hosts exclusive updates, candid content, and some seriously sultry turns from co-star Shyla Jennings – all have cemented Lovia’s place near the top of the porno popularity heap. Now, one of the hottest directors working today has roped her into a showcase feature that’s guaranteed to sizzle on screens of any size.

After discussing her career goals in branding and performance with acclaimed director Greg Lansky, Lovia made clear she wanted not only shoot for Lansky’s Tushy, Blacked, and Vixen sites, but to also be the subject of his next showcase feature. A movie of firsts, ‘Eva’ sees Lovia performing in her first M/F anal scene, DP, an elusive F/F anal scene, first interracial anal encounter, and a threesome with, you guessed it, anal sex!

Committing her ass to Lansky’s cameras and crew was an easy decision, the star claims. “Greg very much puts the girl first and he really puts emphasis on beauty and having that cinematic quality. There is no rushing.” She also revealed something of a secret of Lansky’s success. Productions are schedule so that dialogue scenes and sexual intercourse are shot on different days, giving all kinds of performers and technicians with all kinds of attributes the chance to do their best work.

Fans will be able to see the results of Lansky and Lovia’s hotly anticipated collaboration in the forthcoming trailer (due July) to be followed by a succession of online updates culminating in the collected ‘Eva’ released in September.
