Porn is a corruptive influence on society, or at least that’s what’s often claimed by anti-porn and anti-ex crusaders out to kill everyone else’s fun ’cause a deity or their own prudishness told them to. The thing of it is, they might be right. Lana Rhoades, a fresh-faced 20-year-old who’s just burst onto the LA porn scene in a huge way, first became interested in a career as a sexual entertainer after watching reality TV show ‘The Girls Next Door’ which documented the lives of Hugh Hefner’s gaggle of blonde girlfriends. And now she’s taking giant black dicks, staring into a camera lens and pretending to fuck every guy watching, and even tonguing the asshole of one of porn’s most controversial figures and biggest crossover successes, James Deen.
Born in Wisconsin but earning her stripes in Chicago tending bar and stripping, Rhoades had long thought of flying to LA to try her hand at porn but was initially dissuaded by her mother. Later turning to direct emails to agents, she heard back from the legendary Mark Spiegler, sent him some photos, and the rest of the story really tells itself. (No, her mother still does’t know!) First shooting masturbation and striptease scenes and galleries for FTV Girls (where she even works out topless in a public gym) then moving on to harder scenes, Rhoades’ piercing eyes, slender but curvaceous figure, and fondness for anal play made her an obvious starlet to watch.
Noticed and quickly cast by Mike Adriano for a BangPOV scene, then by Naughty America’s Virtual Reality department for a virtual girlfriend experience in POV, then by 2016’s reigning AVN Director of the Year, Greg Lansky, for his Blacked website. An interracial scene was something Rhoades wanted to shoot when she first decided to try porn and she says working with Flash Brown was “Really cool…His dick was big, but I liked it.” (Another reference to her self-proclaimed supertight snatch.) Lansky wants her back and she’s down to shoot for Lanksy’s all-anal site, just not quite yet: “Whenever I do anal I want to do it for Tushy.”
With future work for Amateur Allure, Hustler, Teen Fidelity, and HardX already in the pipeline, we’re definitely going to be hearing more about the woman of whom Keiran Lee says, “If this girl doesn’t win an award at this year’s AVN’s, I’ll be really surprised!” And it’s pretty clear why, too.
